Acma's organization for machinery rebuilding Aside from guaranteeing assistance to their clients, Acma and their main branch offices around the world have specialized over the past years in the rebuilding of machinery. There are several levels of rebuilding, which are based upon the age of the machinery. However, the process takes place in accordance with standards that are tested to guarantee the quality of the machines, as if they were brand new. The rebuilding facilities are strategically located in the world: a complete rebuild is suggested for machines which have been used for more than 25,000 hours or have exceeded 10 years of service.
It consists of:
Complete disassembly of the machine
Repainting of the casting and of the machine groups and replacement
of worn parts;
Installation of the new groups;
Size groups replacement;
Replacement of the electric and pneumatic circuits;
Replacement of the existing control cabinet with a new PLC-cabinet.
A complete rebuild requires:
Highly skilled personnel
Use of original spare parts
Knowledge of the machinery evolution, in order to determine which new groups need to be installed and tooling for the correct installation and timing of the machine groups
A complete rebuild guarantees:
Improved performance of the original machine
Product quality
Possible use of the most modern wrapping materials such as metalized paper
and light polypropylene
Complete and updated documentation
Machinery compliance with safety in the work place rules
CEE certification Six months guarantee
Other types of rebuildings:
Aside from complete rebuildings which offer a total quality warranty, Acma offers the possibility of partial rebuilds or updates of mechanical and electronic groups, to be defined each time based upon the needs of the client. There are no general specifications for such tasks, however the quality of the job is always guaranteed, together with the delivery of complete documentation and after sales assistance. There is a large list of second hand machines available in Acma. For further information please contact: Acma Sales department |
